Terms of Service

How the auctions works:

  • Each vehicle listing will have its own time limit, and culminate in a timed countdown near the end of each auction to allow for last minute final bidding. All known vehicle details are listed on the auction page along with any available photos.
  • All vehicles are sold in as-is condition, and all sales are final.
  • Previous owners of the vehicle are permitted to pay impound fees and reclaim the vehicle before the auction of that vehicle closes, so some vehicles may become unavailable before the posted close date. In this case, current bidders on that vehicle will not be subject to any fees.

Vehicle Viewing:

  • Individuals are able to view the vehicle in person at our lot in North Pole, Alaska, by making an appointment to view it no later than 24 hours before the end of the auction on that vehicle. To make an appointment, please contact us.

How to place a bid:

  • In order to place bids on vehicle auctions, you must create an account and submit a valid credit card.
  • Once you have created an account and valid credit card, you may bid on any currently active auctions on the site.
  • Minimum bid: your bid must be at least $10 more than the current bid. Bids less than $10 above the current bid will not be added.

We Use Automatic Bidding

When bidding, you enter the maximum you’re willing to pay. Our system will bid for you, with the smallest amount possible every time, making sure you are always one step ahead of the other bidders. Once you have reached your maximum bid, we will notify you and no longer bid on your behalf unless you decide to set up a new automatic bid.

How to pay:

  • Once the auction has closed, you have three business days to pay the full amount using either the card information in your online account, or in person at our office with cash or cashiers check. Please contact us to let us know if you will pay in person, so we can be sure someone is in the office when you arrive.
  • For in-person payment, you must have your ID, confirmation email, and payment method ready and present them upon request.
  • If you bid on any vehicle and are unable to pay within three business days from the end of the auction, a $300 fee will be charged to the card on file. This ensures all buyers are serious and all opportunities for purchase are equal.
  • In addition to the price of the final bid on the vehicle, a 15% buyers fee will be added to your total purchase price.
  • If you pay with a credit card processing fees may apply.

How to pick up your vehicle:

  • Once payment is complete, you must take possession of your vehicle within seven days of payment.
  • Upon pickup of the vehicle, the purchaser must present ID and confirmation email. If the vehicle will be removed by a third party, that third party must present the member number before removal.
  • If you are unable to remove your vehicle from the property within those seven days, Dirty Deeds Towing will charge a daily storage rate of $60.
  • All towing and removal must be arranged by the purchaser. However, If you employ the use of Dirty Deeds Towing to remove your vehicle from the property, you are eligible to receive a 20% discount on that towing service.
